Questions and answers
Do I need to come to your office from Tainan?
No. Clients in Tainan can send scans for a quote by email and courier originals to us. When a step requires you in person, such as signing before a notary, we arrange it within the jurisdiction of the Tainan District Court.
What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
In consecutive interpreting the speaker pauses and the interpreter renders each segment afterwards, which works well for meetings and appointments. In simultaneous interpreting the interpreter speaks at the same time as the speaker, usually from a booth, which is needed for conferences.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for simultaneous interpreting or less common languages. We can often cover short-notice appointments for Mandarin and English.
