Request a quote for Interpreting

Some conversations cannot wait for a written translation: a notary appointment where you must understand what you sign, a negotiation with a supplier, a factory audit, a court hearing or a medical consultation. Our interpreters work between Mandarin, English and many other languages, in person anywhere in Taiwan or remotely by video and phone.

We match the interpreter to the subject and the setting, brief them on your documents and terminology beforehand, and confirm confidentiality in writing. For conferences we provide simultaneous interpreters and can arrange booths and equipment.

Every document is different, so we quote each request individually. Send us a scan and you will receive a fixed price.

How it works

  1. Tell us the date, place, languages and type of event.

  3. You share documents or a glossary for the interpreter's preparation.

  4. The interpreter attends in person or connects remotely.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?

In consecutive interpreting the speaker pauses and the interpreter renders each segment afterwards, which works well for meetings and appointments. In simultaneous interpreting the interpreter speaks at the same time as the speaker, usually from a booth, which is needed for conferences.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially for simultaneous interpreting or less common languages. We can often cover short-notice appointments for Mandarin and English.

Can you interpret at a notary or court appointment?

Yes. We regularly interpret at notary signings and can provide interpreters for court and police matters. Some courts appoint their own interpreters, and we will tell you if that applies.
